Mann Ki Baat: PM Modi Asks Indian Citizens to Embrace e & Mobile Banking

Mann Ki Baat :The Prime Minister Narendra Modi had made a sudden announcement about the Demonetization of the higher currency notes to eradicate the black money in the country and now he is coming to resolve the problems of the public with a new idea of using the Mobile Banking by the Digital wallets. People are suffering a lot by the sudden announcement of the PM, to solve the people problem’s Narendra Modi came with a new suggestion to the country to embrace electronic mobile banking.

 Senior officials from the states also participated during the half-day interaction on various aspects of ensuring cashless transactions and the revolution of this e-payments and the Mobile banking system that can overcome all the corruption in the country.

He also tweeted before his ‘Mann ki Baat’ radio address to the nation that “”Time has come for everyone, particularly my young friends, to embrace e-banking, mobile banking and more such technology,” the Prime Minister suggested the Mobile to be used for the banking purposes. Modi also said that “My mobile….My bank….My wallet.” This is done because of the central government on November 8 demonetized the old Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes to crack down all the black money holders and this move led to a cash chaos in the country.

In the meanwhile, the central government has asked all statutory 4,041 urban local bodies to shift to e-payments at the earliest as possible, an official said on Sunday. The Urban Development Ministry said these cities and towns account for about 75 percent of the total 40 crore urban population in the country, according to a communiqué from the ministry .The government’s message to the officials of these urban local bodies was conveyed by “Rajiv Gauba” who is the Secretary, Urban Development, via interactive video-conference earlier.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is giving a push to the country to go digital, he appealed to the people in the country and particularly to the youth on Sunday, to embrace e-banking and mobile banking for the cashless transactions.
