The parent of Hamid Ansari, Fauzia said that “The last time I spoke to him was on November 10, 2012, when he told me that he will be back in Mumbai by November 12 and was looking forward to taking up a teaching assignment,” during this period of time Fauzia has written a note to the Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and met the Union external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj five times till now. He stated that she can recognize him even from a distance.

After Four Years, now in 2016

                       The content in that letter Fauzia wrote to the Pakistani Prime Minister is said as “Allow Hamid to talk to us from prison. We have not spoken to him for over four years now. Please allow him consular access denied to him till date,” Hamid the 31 years old had entered Pakistan to meet a girl who he knows in online after he knows that she is forcibly getting married he went to Pakistan by finding no other choice.

Now the Hamid Ansari was in the Military custody, it was in the January of this year that parents of Hamid Ansari, Fauzia and Nehal came to know about Hamid from the Pakistani government’s submission in the Peshawar High court with respective to the Habeas Corpus petition. Hamid was arrested by the Pakistani military force soon after he tries to enter the Pakistan country; this awarded him for the three years imprisonment.

                        Concluding about the issue Fauzia said that “Since he has been in jail since 2012, he has served this sentence already. But there is no clarity about when he will be released. What is intriguing is that a woman Zeenat Shehzadi, who tried to help Hamid, seems to have been targeted by agencies there. She has gone missing.”
