ISIS Training 20 Indians in Afghanistan: Several men who had links with ISIS are arrested after the massive operation in Southern India by NIA. With a special and specific purpose of targeting India and Bangladesh, the Intelligence agencies say that the ISIS of Islamic State has launched the special operations in training the cadres from these countries at its Nangarhar in Afghanistan.
There is given the country’s external intelligence agency Research and Analysis wing the clarified report that is submitted to the centre, said ISIS. The ISIS is desperately trying to make its presence in India, in which they may manage to lure some more youth of our country who recently fled from states like Kerala to the Nangarhar training camp.

According to the details that are accessed by the News Paper, the reports say on this issue as “It is suspected that more than 20 young men from India, mostly from southern states like Kerala, are being trained by ISIS at the Nangarhar camp which is close to Jalalabad. It is suspected that these youth may have managed to enter Afghanistan by first going to some Gulf country and subsequently managed to reach the Nangarhar camp. ISIS will try and send these men back into India to launch some terror operations.”
The NIA (National Investigation Agency) has recently launched a massive operation in the Southern India and after that operation, they had arrested more than 12 men who had the links with ISIS and were planning to carry out subversive activities in the region. Official government sources said that the information which is forwarded by the RAW has also been shared with the other security agencies and the other intelligence agencies including National Investigation Agencies. The report further from the government reveals that apart from India, ISIS is also believed to be training some youth from Bangladesh and the Maldives at the same camp along with the Indians.
A Senior Intelligence officer said to Media that “ISIS training cadres in Afghanistan is serious as this could impact the security situation, not just in India but the entire region. If the terror outfit succeeds in making inroads in Bangladesh and the Maldives, it is dangerous for India’s internal security. We are closely monitoring the situation.”
The Same senior official from Intelligence added to he said that “As far as Afghanistan is concerned, there’s a great deal of co-operation between India, US, and Afghanistan on various security related issues. We are working together to counter the increasing influence of ISIS in the region as it will impact all stakeholders.”
