A 25-year-old woman software employee at Pune, Infosys from Kerala is found dead at her office. Her name is said as K. Rasila Raju and she was strangled with a computer wire around her at her workplace in her office in Hinjewadi at Pune.
This incident has actually happened on Sunday and the Police said about this incident as “5-year-old woman software engineer from Kerala, who worked with Infosys, was found murdered at the software firm’s Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park office in the Hinjewadi area of Pune on Sunday.”

It is known that K. Rasila Raju was working in online with all her teammates on Sunday evening, later she was allegedly strangled with the computer wire on the ninth floor of the office building at Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park in which there is Infosys Office. The Assistant Commissioner of Police department, Vaishali Jadhav said about this issue that “Her [Rasila’s] manager was trying to call her, but there was no response. The manager called and asked the security guard to go and check and when the security guard went to see her, she was found unconscious near her workstation. The incident might have taken place around 5 pm but we received a call around 8 pm. Raju was employed as a software engineer by the firm.” The police registered a case of murder against unidentified persons, and a probe into the incident was initiated.”
After the primary investigation, it is said that it brought up the name of a security guard, Bhaben Saikia who is hailing from Assam. About this case investigation, the Police started searching for him and he was detained in Mumbai at the early hours of Monday and he was arrested later. The official statement from Infosys stated on Twitter about this incident as “We are deeply saddened & shocked by the tragedy at Pune DC. Our hearts go out to our colleague’s family in this time of grief. We are working with the authorities to provide all necessary support.” Infosys has already given the police CCTV footage from the crime scene and their surroundings, which will help the Police Officers to establish the sequence of events before and after the murder.
