Luckly I spotted a sign that said "To Balcony", and rushed up the stairs. No one was left sitting in the seats, and so I ran down to the main exit area. I was lucky enough to catch the tail end of one of the exit lines. When I walked through the door, I was handed my nice shiny copy of Brain Age, and I once again was able to bask in the pleasure that comes from a lucky circumstance.

As I sat with other developers eating lunch, they were commenting how they are really pleased to see the direction Nintendo is going in. They also mentioned how handing out free copies of Brain Age, with the purpose of it being shared with friends and family, shows a more generous and flexible side of Nintendo, more so than what was seen in the past. Only through GDC is it possible to see the complete inner workings of the games industry so closely and accurately. As Revolution Report readers have seen, great news can come out of GDC. And as I have seen, the event can be just as fun as it is informative.
