EA Sports To Announce New NBA Jam for Wii

Sources from EA Sports confirmed to ESPN that they will be developing a new iteration of the classic basketball game NBA Jam for the Nintendo Wii.

This news comes after EA Sports community manager Alain Quinto tweeted in December that EA was ready to announce a new game, and after much speculation EA Sports is set to announce a current-gen version of the 1993 console and arcade hit.

Not many details have been revealed as of now. An official announcement from EA is expected soon, as well as additional information about the game, and whether or not it will be exclusive to the Wii.

With the former NBA Jams featuring then president Bill Clinton, first lady Hillary Clinton and VP Al Gore, some are speculating that President Obama could make a cameo in the game.
