Pet Support In Wii Fit Plus

Since Nintendo has very effectively gone after the non-gamer, you would think their 'blue ocean strategy' would end there. Ah, but the Nintendo executives minds were busy working on their next demographic target that, surprisingly, has been left untapped for longer than even the non-traditional gamer.

Ladies and gentleman, they want your pets.

In the first Wii Fit, the idea of weighing your furry little friend was suggested briefly by first weighing yourself, and then again with the pet and doing a little mental math. In Wii Fit Plus, however, they bring it one step further by allowing you to create a full-on Mii pet avatar for your pet and will even do that extremely difficult simple mental math for you.

Unfortunately, there aren't any pet related exercises. I would have paid significantly more money to see if they could motivate my cat to do more sit ups than I do.
