Konami Announces Zephyr: Rise of the Elementals

Fresh from the Microsoft Keynote comes a new game announcement for the Xbox 360, Wii, and PS3. The game is called Zephyr: Rise of the Elementals, and in it you play the role of a tornado.

The game is created by Loose Cannon Studios, a company composed of former employees of Sucker Punch, those behind inFamous on the PS3. From what was shown and the above logo, the game seems to be a aiming for a more humorous and cartoony type of feel.

Gameplay will consist of controlling a tornado as you roll through the streets picking up everything in your path. It was also announced that co-op will be in the game, allowing two people to team up and add to the carnage. Environments will include all types of locations, from urban to rural, allowing those picky in their destruction to demolish exactly what they want, where they want to.
