Sega Encouraged By Initial Mad World Sales |

It seems like whenever a mature title is released on the Wii, gamers collectively hold their breath. You hang on to the hope that if more mature titles continue to do well that developers will be encouraged to continue creating mature content. Well, chalk up another victory.
Talking with VentureBeat, Sean Ratcliffe, Sega of America Vice President of Marketing, indicated his encouragement regarding Mad World as well as their other mature rated title, House of the Dead: Overkill.
"House of the Dead has done very well and has absolutely met our expectations. The first set of data for Mad World is very encouraging, as well."
Unfortunatly, sales data is still yet unknown. However, I am curious as to how good "enouraging" data can be. Regardless, this bodes well for that insanely anticipated title, The Conduit, which Sega will be bringing to store shelves on June 23. Hardcore gamers, hold your breath in 3, 2, 1...
