After seeing some of the improvements High Voltage Software has made on The Conduit during its development, key control questions like the support of Nintendo's MotionPlus and Wii Speak accessories have been left hanging in the balance. In an interview with GameTrailers' Geoff Keighley, High Voltage CEO Eric Nofsinger commented on the use of these accessories.
While previous reports noted that High Voltage was working with Wii Speak and MotionPlus for the game, only one seemed to be squeezed in. "Not Wii MotionPlus," Nofsinger said when asked about the anticipated accessory. "Not for this version."
However, Nofsinger did confirm that Wii Speak will be used for the 16-player online multiplayer mode in the game. Surely the use of voice chat for the game is good news for the fans awaiting this game. They will continue to wait, though, as GameTrailers TV was sure to point out that the game is expected in June this year.
1Up thought the inclusion of "not for this version" by Nofsinger was interesting. Will there be different versions of the game, or does this indicate that a sequel is in the works?
