Lit Coming to WiiWare Next Week

WayForward Technologies, known for developing Contra 4 on the DS, revealed yesterday via IGN that their next anticipated title "Lit" will be available on WiiWare next Monday, February 9. The game is the development team's first title to be brought to the platform, and can be purchased for 800 Wii Points.

Lit stars angst-ridden teen Jake, who is on a quest to find his kidnapped girlfriend in their twisted, darkly-morphed high school. Gameplay progresses throughout 30+ classrooms, in which enemies are "fought" using different sources of light. Players use the Wii Remote's infrared technology to aim slingshots at windows, control a flashlight, and guide Jake around the classes to fight the darkness.

Based on the gameplay video below, it seems like a challenging adventure game worthy of anyone's points. Will any of you be checking in to the Wii Shop Channel next week for this game?
