DLC for Rock Band 2 Coming 'Early 2009'

Although promised to be available by the time the Wii version of Rock Band 2 was released, the downloadable content feature is still suspiciously absent from the game. After gamers started to complain, Harmonix quickly and apologetically noted that the feature was in its "final testing stages" and would be ready "as early in 2009 as possible."

We aren't sure if this means within the first week, the first month, or the first quarter of the year, but once the Wii Rock Band Store goes live, gamers will be greeted with a free 20-song pack that the other consoles got earlier this year, along with a selection of 30 songs from the original Rock Band's DLC library.
