Boom Blox 2 On the Way

Nintendo has struggled with its third party support, which can still be debated to this generation. One game that we can all agree was a positive force for both the Wii, and its third parties, was Boom Blox. Recently Variety was able to confirm that there is a second Boom Blox in the works.

According to Variety, development of the anticipated sequel will come from where the first one originated, EA LA. I have to wonder how much Steven Spielberg will be involved in the sequel. EA credits Spielberg with coming up with the idea in the first place, so one has to wonder if he’ll be as involved in the second game.

Boom Blox did not sell as well as other AAA titles, but it certainly played like one. When this game releases, buy it.
