De Blob Cleans House At Australian Awards

THQ's unique action puzzler, De Blob, took home five awards at the annual Games Developers' Association of Australia (GDAA) Awards on November 21st. It received "Best Console Title", "Best Gameplay", "Best Graphics" and Best Audio" along with the coveted "Best Game" award. 

GDAA President Tom Crago had this to say when asked about the game.

"[de Blob was] the standout Australian title this year and it's no surprise to see it dominate the GDAA Awards. Our congratulations go to everyone involved and indeed to the winners and finalists in all categories."

The Wiire recently reported that the Wii was Australia's fastest selling console in history, so its only a fitting that a Wii game would receive this kind of praise.
