Best Buy has come up with a devious scheme marketing strategy that will see squads of geeks descend on living rooms everywhere, to help set up that gaming console little Jimmy managed to score for Christmas.
Now, thankfully, they are doing a more than just hooking up cords. They will also be setting up the console to ensure proper parental controls are implemented, to ensure the content being allowed is age appropriate.
Will people actually find value in services like this? Or is Best Buy trying to capitalize on parents not wanting to educate themselves on the matter? See: Report Praises Games Industry, Disses Parents.
