Gamasutra recently interviewed GameStop CEO Dan DeMatteo, about the state of the industry and what to expect in the upcoming holiday season. While DeMatteo indicates that GameStop is having trouble keeping the $199 XBOX 360 Arcade in stock, he also added that he sees the same future for the Wii. "While we're in stock, and we believe we're going to be much better off than before, I think the Wii still has a chance of being a sellout this year."
For the third Christmas in a row, a Wii for your family may be rather hard to come by. Hopefully you haven't promised little Jimmy one just yet. If you did, you may want to start by bookmarking this page. May you shop with speed.
