Ask someone to name an enemy fundamental to a Mario game, and you'll likely hear "Goomba", but what about Dragon Quest? Why, it could be none other than Slime! In celebration of the staple 'enemies' so quickly pummeled by colorful 'heroes', The Wiire is giving away five copies of Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors to those readers who truly know how to cherish a Slime.

How can you turn down a face like that?

What's the most fantastic scenario you can imagine for Square-Enix's iconic blue blob? A pirate, a president, a pop star? Using the materials provided and an image-editing program (all downloads found below), situate your Slime into the most creative role-play you can conjure!

If image editing isn't your cup of tea, feel free to print out the provided picture of Slime - or make use of that Slime plushie you keep stashed behind your bed - and merge your creativity with the real world. Don't be bashful about including yourself or others in the picture if it works to your advantage!

When you have your Slime-tastic picture ready, e-mail it to " This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it " with the following information:

Mailing Address
Brief Description of Picture

Please note that entries without all of these details will be thrown out. Your personal information will be used only to identify you for shipment purposes and never given to outside parties.

The contest will run from today until Friday, March 28, at which point The Wiire staff will painstakingly debate over the five best Slimes. Winners will be contacted shortly thereafter.

Contest Rules:

Only North America resident are eligible.
Only one game per household.
Picture must not feature any obscene references. Please use good judgment.

Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors is Square-Enix's first foray on the Wii platform. The game combines traditional RPG mechanics with a first-person perspective and on-rails combat sections for an experience well-suited to genre newcomers. The Wiire's full review can be read here.
