Why, it could be none other than Slime! In celebration of the staple 'enemies' so quickly pummeled by colorful 'heroes', The Wiire is giving away five copies of Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors to those readers who truly know how to cherish a Slime. ![]() How can you turn down a face like that? If image editing isn't your cup of tea, feel free to print out the provided picture of Slime - or make use of that Slime plushie you keep stashed behind your bed - and merge your creativity with the real world. Don't be bashful about including yourself or others in the picture if it works to your advantage! The contest will run from today until Friday, March 28, at which point The Wiire staff will painstakingly debate over the five best Slimes. Winners will be contacted shortly thereafter. Contest Rules:
Contest Materials: Slime, Dragon Quest Sword materials (note: all except for Slime are optional) Adobe Photoshop Download (free 30-day trial) GIMP (completely free) Paint.NET (completely free) Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors is Square-Enix's first foray on the Wii platform. The game combines traditional RPG mechanics with a first-person perspective and on-rails combat sections for an experience well-suited to genre newcomers. The Wiire's full review can be read here.
