Could Rock Band 2 Slip To 2009?

Just when you were thinking Harmonix respected Wii owners, they go and break Wii owners' hearts again. (Maybe) The Rumortoid over at Destructoid reports from an inside source in the Gamestop franchise that Rockband 2's bundle has been delayed until January. Check your calendars because that's not even in 2008.

Now all is not lost. This is only the bundle (which...is everything EXCEPT the game). Destructoid contacted Harmonix's PR department, and they were able to confirm that Rock Band 2 for the Wii will be out in 2008, most likely some point in December.

Granted this is just a rumor, but with the massive amount of Wii owners, and the ever-growing audience, one would think Harmonix and MTV would take more time and create an equal experience for the Wii. Ignoring the Wii audience is ignoring a rather large percentage of players willing to pay money to play a game they want.
