Brawl: WarioWare Stage

By Eric Wright / Friday, 31 August 2007
The official Smash Bros. Brawl web site has unveiled a stage inspired by the WarioWare series of games.

The typical fighting area

As players fight on the stage, action will be interrupted by microgames. Microgames, typically under five seconds in length, task players with frantically performing a single action before the time runs out.

"Stay Dry!" Brawlin' in the rain

"Jump!" Kirby kicks up dust.

Players will earn rewards for successfully completing the microgames.

"Dodge!" William Tell's worst nightmare.

The Wiire reviewed Wario Ware: Smooth Moves, the fifth game in the WarioWare series, when it was released for Wii on January 15, 2007. The game recieved an overall grade of B-, and three awards including an Editor's Choice award from Editor-in-Chief Rob Galbreath.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is scheduled to be released on December 3 in North and South America. The game is expected to arrive in Japan and PAL territories within a similar time frame.

Return to The Wiire for the latest on Super Smash Bros., WarioWare, and the entire Wii lineup.
