At a recent press conference, Bandai Namco's Vice President and
Representative Director Shin Unozawa confirmed that his company has 30
games in development for Wii.
Bandai-Namco has already revealed a few of the projects it has a hand in, which are as follows:
- Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2
- Ennichi no Tatsujin
- Final Furlong
- SD Gundam G Breaker
- New Digimon Project
- Pac-Man Carnival
- Sword of Legendia
- Tamagotchi's Sparkling President
- Xevious (Virtual Console)
- Namco Bandai Action game (Untitled)
- Namco New RPG (Untitled)
- Namco Wii Project (Untitled)
Bandai-Namco
owns rights to numerous properties, such as Tekken, Ridge Racer, Time
Crisis, Baten Kaitos, Xenosaga and Soul Calibur, but it's unknown if
the remaining 18 projects are new franchise installments or original
titles, though it's likely a mixture of both.
The Wiire will have more on Wii's developer support as it happens.
