LucasArts to Support Wii

During a Star Wars panel held yesterday at Comic-Con in San Diego, LucasArts representative Steve Sansweet confirmed that the company plans to develop games for all next-generation platforms, including Wii. Sansweet was asked by an audience member during the Q&A session if LucasArts would support Nintendo's next-generation console. The representative responded by noting the likeness between the Wii controller and a light saber, followed by an affirmation that LucasArts will support every next-generation console. Regarding next-gen development, LucasArts is currently working on an Indiana Jones title for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The company has made no mention of bringing the game to Wii. The Wiire will have more on LucasArts' Wii titles as information becomes available.
