Mario Kart: Koopa Troopa, Mii Spectators

Nintendo has released a new batch of screenshots for Mario Kart Wii revealing a handful of interesting tidbits on the arcade racer. For starters, Mii characters will comprise the spectators at the racing tracks. According to The Wiire's previous report, Miis will also be playable in races. As previously mentioned, the wacky racers will be able to choose between karts and bikes. Some levels, such as Donkey Kong's snow course, have been designed with the bikes in mind. It has also been revealed that D.K. will sport a new go-kart. Pictured: the expected boxart for Mario Kart Wii. Motor bikes will also carry over to online play. Additionally, the online handle of gamers will levitate just above their character during Wi-Fi matches. Finally, Koopa Troopa has stepped up to the Mario Kart challenge as a playable character.
