Ubisoft Reveals Driver: Parallel Lines Info

France-based publisher Ubisoft issued a press release disclosing a number of new details for its Wii port of Driver: Parallel Lines, expected to release in March.

Split between two different time periods - 1978 and 2006 - Parallel Lines allows players to explore New York while completing 35 different missions. In addition, 80 customizable vehicles - from standard cars to motorcycles - will be available for use.

Ubisoft is planning full Wii Remote integration with Parallel Lines. From targeting to driving to gesture-based motions, players will have over 30 different controller functions at their disposal. The Wii version will also include upgraded AI, along with improved physics and visuals.

The fourth game in the Driver series, Parallel Lines first released for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox on March 14, 2006.
