Brawl: Boss Petey Piranha

The official Super Smash Bros. Brawl Web site revealed details about the first boss in single-player mode The Subspace Emissary. Petey Piranha will fight using iron cages in which Princess Peach and Zelda are held captive. Director Masahiro Sakurai said, "You can save either Zelda or Peach, depending on which cage you damage more and subsequently break." Sakurai did not elaborate on what happens to the character players do not save. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is slated for a December 3 release in the Americas. The game is expected to arrive in Japan around the same time and in Europe during 2008. The Wiire will have more on the new Brawl bosses as information becomes available.
