Recently The Wiire reported Nintendo was very unhappy with their sales of late. Apparently GameStop recognizes this too, and is doing what they can to incentivize folks to purchase a Wii.
Starting today, GameStop is running a sale, selling the Wii for $149.99 when you trade any 2 games from a list of Xbox 360 and PS3 games, or PS2 consoles (for the full list, click here). The sale only applies to the purchasing of a Wii console (which comes with a Wii Remote, Nunchuk, and Wii Sports). The list of games are fairly new ones, encompassing games like Batman: Arkham Asylum, this year's sports games (Madden 10, NCAA Footbal 10, NBA 2K10, etc.), and some older titles like Call of Duty 4 and Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition.
If you have yet to buy a Wii, this is not a deal to pass up on if you either have an unused PS2 and/or couple of 360 games and PS3 games laying around that you don't play anymore. The sale runs until November 29th. |
