Rogue Trooper Will Be Ported To Wii

By Skylar Wilcox / Monday, 12 May 2008
If you didn't play Eidos's third-person shooter Rogue Trooper when it came out in 2006 for PS2, Xbox, and PC, now's your second chance.  The game, which is based on a British comic strip and received decent reviews, is making a surprise return for Wii.  Reef Entertainment, the studio handling the port, says this will be the definitive version, as evidenced by the new subtitle, The Quartz Zone Massacre.  The Wii version will receive several tweaks and gameplay refinements especially for the Wii controller.

In Rogue Trooper: The Quartz Zone Massacre, you play as a genetically engineered super-soldier, who I'll call Rambo Smurf, who fights using the capabilities of four of his fallen comrades by utilizing data chips containing their fighting skills.  The game is scheduled for release near the end of this year.
