Twelve Interactive Becomes Official Wii Developer |

Italian game developer Twelve Interactive announced that it has become
a licensed Wii developer. Additionally, the studio is working on two
projects for Nintendo's new console: Crash Dummy Vs. The Evil D-Troit
and Starblaze: Ultimate Battle. "The Nintendo Wii is a perfect console to work on for small independent developers like us. It give us the opportunity to work on triple A games, with [a] very reduced budget," commented Giuseppe Crugliano, managing director and founder of Twelve Interactive. "Crash Dummy Vs The Evil D-Troit Wii version [published by Oxygen Interactive] will take full advantage of the innovative Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers, transforming the game experience into a fresh brand new experience." Crash Dummy Vs. The Evil D-Troit is an action game that sees the unlikely hero Crash Dummy attempting to save his girlfriend and the future of crash dummies everywhere from the evil D-Troit. The game utilizes the Havok physics engine and various combat styles so as to allow players many humorous ways in which to interact with the environment and enemies. Crash Dummy Vs. The Evil D-Troit is planned to release on Wii, DS, PSP and PS2 this year. The game's official Web site can be found here. According to their press release, Twelve Interactive's second Wii title, Starblaze: Ultimate Battle, is a futuristic game for next-gen platforms featuring "a deep story, capturing gameplay, incredible worlds, aliens, cyborgs and giant robots."
