Bengaluru: A Lover in Bengaluru showed her cruelness towards her boyfriend and came to light. She threw acid on her boyfriend and slashed his face with a Knife on Monday night in Bengaluru City. After some interrogation, it is known that the woman was a nurse in a hospital and her cousin helped her in attempting this crime.
The actual reason behind this incident is that the guy is taking too much long time in deciding of their marriage and he is refusing to convert his caste to Christianity.

After this incident, the Bengaluru Police arrested the nurse who is the girlfriend of the victim and currently they are searching for her cousin who helped her in attempting this crime. The accused women name was Lydia of age 26 and she is the resident of Srirampura. She is a Nurse at a Private hospital on Ali Asgar Road, and the Victim who is the lover of Lydia is Jayakumar of 32 years old and he is the resident of Prakash Nagar. He runs an apparel shop near the Ali Asgar road in which Lydia works there in the Hospital as a Nurse. It can be seen that the Victim Jayakumar has acid burns on his neck and Knife cut wounds on the face.

They soon fell in love with each other and started meeting frequently and later she asked him to marry her and convert to Christianity, he was willing to marry her but refused to convert his case. As they approached Pipeline Road, Lydia, who was riding pillion, threw acid on Jayakumar through his car window.
Jayakumar who is in intense pain got out of the car. Lydia, who was waiting with the blade, slashed his face. As Jayakumar fell down, the accused sped away, while Jayakumar’s friend rushed him to a hospital and alerted the police. Lydia was picked up from her house, but her cousin is absconding,” as per the Bengaluru Police reports.
