AP Govt to distribute free mobiles : The Andhra Pradesh Government is planning to Distribute Free Mobiles for the people to do the “Cashless Transactions”, this is to enable economically-backward people to undertake cashless transactions in the wake of the ongoing Currency Crisis.

After the sudden Demonetisation of the higher currency notes by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to eradicate the black money, the common people are facing a lot of problems in their daily life. It became the hot topic in the country, and the Government is trying to solve the problems of the people. Following by the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister took a decision to solve the problems of the people by implementing a new idea.

AP Govt is planning to distribute free mobiles for Poor People for Making E-Payments

The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu came up with this proposal during a review meeting with the RBI officials and the Bankers in Vijayawada on Thursday. The Chief Minister asked the bankers to review the situation constantly with their respective top officials through  Teleconference until this problem sort out.

“Everybody needs a mobile phone for digital transactions, so we want to implement this idea and distribute mobile phones,” the CM said in the meeting with RBI officials.

The CM announced that the government needed to distribute the Mobile Phones to the people to make their transactions through Digital wallets and he means that they can only come out of the crisis if we help them .

The RBI officials informed to the CM that another amount of Rs 3,000 crores new currency notes are expected to reach the state by November 28th. Along with this, the smaller denomination currency notes of Rs 60 crores are expected to come, they said.

The CM asked the bankers to review the situation with their top officials through the teleconference till the problem is eased out. RBI representative Hari Sankar and Andhra Bank Deputy General Manager G S V Krishna Rao and other senior officials also attended the meeting.
