Amazon’s Great Indian Sale: Amazon the popular online store is planning to create over 7500 temporary jobs for its upcoming great sale. This former company is hiring 7500 temporary workers for the coming Great Indian Sale and it is said that the positions will mostly be in logistics to ensure smooth deliveries to the customers.Amazon.in will likely to host the ‘Great Indian Sale’ between January 20 to January 22 of 2017.
The India Customer fulfilment Akhil Saxena told about the further details and the specific details as “We have opened more than 7,500 seasonal roles for our upcoming Great Indian Sale. These roles will be available at 27 Fulfillment Centers, over 100 delivery stations and close to 15 sort centres across the country, recruitment for seasonal roles is now underway and will be trained for the upcoming sale. We are excited to welcome this new personnel,” he added that throughout the year of 2017, the company Amazon generates thousands of seasonal job opportunities for the people in any sector, as well as opportunities for long-term career development also.

The company Amazon has already invested in six new Fulfillment Centers (FCs) last year and now it taking the total number of operational FCS to 27 around 10 states. “The infrastructure that has been built helps thousands of sellers reaches millions of new customers across the country. It has also enabled Amazon.in to offer faster and quicker delivery of products to more pin codes,” as per Akhil Saxena told PTI.
